From Tokyo Station: Approx. 3 hours 20 minutes via the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen
From Hakata Station (Fukuoka): Approx. 1 hour 45 minutes via the Sanyo Shinkansen
From Shin-Osaka Station: Approx. 45 minutes
Getting to The Setouchi Triennale 2025 is convenient from Okayama Station! Want to enjoy a breathtaking and beautiful view whilst researching your travel destinations and art information? Take the Uno-Port Line from Okayama Station via Chayamachi Station to Uno Station (Uno Port). Also from Okayama Station, take the Rapid Marine Liner across the Seto Ohashi Bridge to get to Takamatsu Station in Kagawa Prefecture in only 1 hour!

With the beautiful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea as a backdrop, we introduce model courses that take you around artworks scattered across the islands, along with tips on restaurants, sightseeing, and accommodation facilities in each area.
* During The Setouchi Triennale 2025 (especially on weekends), each area will be very crowded. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a hat or parasol, and take measures to stay hydrated (vending machines in the area sell out quickly).

This contemporary art festival is held once every three years on the islands of Seto Inland Sea. The festival lasts for around 100 days, and is divided into three sessions: Spring, Summer, and Autumn, allowing visitors to enjoy the wonders of the Setouchi region in different seasons! The Triennale is one of Japan’s foremost international art festivals, attracting around one million people from both Japan and overseas.
